theatre piece on the performance and costuming of womanhood(2014)
An experimental flamenco theatre piece about normative conceptions of femininity and womanhood. This piece was commissioned and performed for Singapore Flamenco Festival 2014.
I composed and performed music for the piece, a process that involved a crash course on the mind-boggling tapestry that is flamenco music. Many hours were whiled away in a flamenco studio in Geylang which was, notably, in convenient proximity to fabulous tau huay.
