A patchwork of sounds, stitched together from recordings of construction sites. It is a small challenge to the alleged undesirability of "noise", to consider if noise may be made coherent, or even palatable, should they be intentionally arranged.

The accompanying image is a screen capture from the audio workstation I used, suggesting the modular nature of the composition. It offers a glimpse into the control needed to fold “noise” into regularity, and the artificiality involved in according primacy to the peripheral.
