ROOM

(2015– )

Live improvised collaborative storytelling;

ROOM is a story-telling experience for one (or more) blindfolded person(s) at a time. It is entirely improvised every session in response to the audience's imagination.

Partly as a response to text-based adventure games, the experience affords an imaginary space without limits. The stories are co-created by the audience and the narrators in live collaboration and co-authorship.

As part of the Singapore collective of ROOM performers, I had the privilege of generating music and soundscape to the participant’s stories, animating their tales in real time.

ROOM has been performed at several events, including Goodman Arts Centre Open House in Singapore and Edinburgh Fringe Festival in UK.
